What VahanQR is

VahanQR — vehicle-safety QR: reach a vehicle’s owner in one scan, with privacy plans that keep the phone number hidden.

Register the vehicle, get the QR, print it, stick it on the glass. After that the number plate is a way to reach you rather than a dead end. A scan can place a masked call or send a message, your emergency contacts are told, and an email lands in your inbox. On the Strict privacy plan nobody ever sees the number itself (on Light, while call minutes last), and a caller has to confirm the last four digits of the plate before anything connects — so the sticker cannot be farmed for spam.

What is a vehicle QR code sticker?

A vehicle QR code sticker, often called a car parking tag, is a QR code on the windscreen that lets anybody contact the vehicle’s owner by scanning it — for wrong parking, a blocked gate, an accident or an emergency. VahanQR’s privacy plans keep the owner’s phone number hidden.

How do I contact the owner of a wrongly parked vehicle?

If the vehicle carries a VahanQR sticker, scan it with your phone camera. You can call or message the owner through the page that opens, after confirming the last four digits of the number plate. On the owner’s Strict privacy plan you never see their number; on Light, calls are masked while the owner’s call minutes last.

Does the person scanning need an app?

No. Any phone camera reads the QR, and the page opens in the browser. The person scanning installs nothing.

Can a housing society or a fleet use VahanQR?

Yes. Apartment complexes, gated communities, rental buildings and parking operators can register, get their own batch of QR codes carrying the society name, and manage them themselves. Fleets and dealerships can tag many vehicles the same way.

Does VahanQR show my phone number to whoever scans the sticker?

It depends on the plan. On the free plan a call is a direct call, so the caller sees the number. On Light Privacy the call is masked while you have call minutes, and goes direct when they run out. On Strict Privacy the number is never shown: calls are always masked and connect only while you have minutes. A message never shows the number.

What happens when someone scans a VahanQR sticker?

They reach a page showing the number plate part-masked, and can call or message the owner through it. Up to three emergency contacts are alerted on that scan, and an email alert lands in the owner’s inbox.
